What are the Observed Holidays for the Futures Market?
On Monday 5/25/26, the CME has a scheduled Market Holiday in observance of Memorial Day.

Memorial Day Scheduled Close Dates/Times per Product Group:
- Interest Rates: Monday, 5/25 pause at 12 PM CT, reopens 5 PM CT
- Energy: Monday, 5/25, pause at 1:30 PM CT, reopens 5 PM CT
- Equities: Monday, 5/25, pause at 12 PM CT, reopens at 5 PM CT
- Grains: Sunday, 5/24, does not open. Monday, 5/25, opens at 7 PM CT
- FX: Monday, 5/25, pause at 4 PM CT, reopens at 5 PM CT
- Metals: Monday, 5/25 pause at 1:30 PM CT, reopens 5 PM CT
- Livestock: Sunday, 5/24, does not open. Monday, 5/25, does not open. Tuesday, 5/26 opens at 8:30 AM CT
- Crypto: Monday, 5/25, pause at 4 PM CT, reopens at 5 PM CT
Futures markets observe certain U.S. federal holidays, during which trading hours may be shortened or markets may be fully closed.
