Market data provides the real-time pricing information you see on the TopstepX platform.

Level I – Top-of-Book (TOB) Data

  • Displays the best bid and ask prices for each product.
  • Includes last traded price and basic volume information.
  • Provided for free by Topstep Brokerage.*

Level II – Depth-of-Market (DOM) Data

  • Displays multiple bid and ask levels beyond the Top-of-Book Data.

Market data providers classify traders as professional or non-professional based on regulatory and industry criteria.

  • Non-Professional: Generally, data provided to individual traders for personal trading only.
  • Professional: Includes individuals or entities trading on behalf of others, registered with a regulatory body, or affiliated with a financial institution.
