Temporary Margin Requirement Adjustments
Ahead of major economic announcements, markets can experience increased volatility, faster price movement, and wider swings in market conditions. In situations like this, temporary margin adjustments may be made to reflect elevated risk and help support risk management for clients.
In anticipation of President Trump’s Iran deadline, Place Order Margin and Day Margin requirements will be temporarily increased, effective today at 5:00 PM CT / 6:00 PM ET.
These temporary increases are expected to remain in effect through approximately 8:35 AM CT / 9:35 AM ET tomorrow. Timing may change based on market conditions and risk decisions.
